Senior Java Developer eccenca

To reinforce the internal development team we are seeking experienced and committed developers. Location is our development headquarter in Hannover as well as at customer's premises.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will design and devlop the SMILA/eccenca platform within our dev team. Besides you will conduct customer implementation projects until succesful operation. Community Support for eccenca and Eclipse Community are important aspects of your work. You will take on responsibility for following duties:

• Advancement of our framework for information logistics
• Design and implementation of OSGi bundles
• Development of data conditioning and annotation components
• Application development in SOA
• Implementation of future-proof interfaces

Your profile

• Excellent Java knowledge
• Eclipse-IDE
• At least 5 years development experience
• know how in OOA, OOD, OOP methods
• fluent in speaking and writing English
• Experiences in creation of english design concepts.
• Very good knowledge in the following technologies:
• OSGi
• RCP/RAP
• Equinox (p2, deklarative Services, ...)
• Eclipse build environments like Buckminster, PDE build, etc.
• Message Queueing
• distributed architectures
• XML/XSLT
• Semantic technologies
• preferred knowledge:
• Databases
• XML Databases
• development process (continuous integration, svn, bug tracking, junit tests, ...)
• Work experience in large or distributed developement teams and corporate environments
• Team oriented
• Great communication skills
• Willingness to travel, potentially international.
