From 05 to 06 November, the members of the Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC) met in Stockholm, Sweden, to discuss the latest developments in the Web of Data.

How do we create a Google for Data? How do we ensure that companies can seamlessly search and link data from different databases as if it were coming from a global database? How can heterogeneous data be freed from its data silos for meaningful Application Lifecycle Management, Integrated Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?

Prof. Dr. Sören Auer, Director of the German National Library of Science and Technology (TIB) in Hanover and advisor at eccenca, gave an outlook on how we can cross the chasm from Linked Data to Cognitive Data.
